On the way, our tour passes along the beaches of Barra da Tijuca and Recreio before you land in Barra de Guaratiba, where begins the trail to secret beaches of Rio de Janeiro. This region is home to 3 uncrowded beaches that are practically virgin. Our tour will take you to the first secret beach, the Dangerous Beach (Praia do Perigoso). Besides being the most beautiful among the secrets beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Dangerous Beach also houses the famous Turtle Stone, where you have an incredible view of the area. In return, of course we have to take a little break on the fantastic beaches of Grumari and Prainha. We are sure you will return this tour charming.

8:00 AM: Transportation

At the time chosen by you, our guide will be ready to get you in a car and take you to the charming city of Petrópolis with the security and comfort you deserve.

8:45 AM: Barra da Tijuca Beach

Our tour starts giving a stop to enjoy the beautiful beach of Barra da Tijuca and the Reserve Beach. After a few photos, it’s time to continue the tour.

9:15: AM Barra de Guaratiba Beach

The next stop is in Barra de Guaratiba, where we take the trail to secret beaches.

9:30 AM: Begins the track

Time to start walking. The trail to the Dangerous Beach, the first of the secret beaches, is moderate and takes around 40 minutes walk.

10:10 AM: Dangerous Beach and Buzios Beach

Finally the secret beaches. Time to make a stop to enjoy the view and the beaches. The Dangerous Beach is quite large and has waves a little strong. Across the beach, it is the Buzios Beach, a very quiet and beautiful beach but full of stones.

10:30 AM: Turtle Stone

For those who want to enjoy an amazing view, another very cool attraction of the Dangerous Beach is the Turtle Stone. Over a 10-minute walk, you reach the top of the rock from which you have a sensational view of the region.

11:30 AM: Return to the Barra de Guaratiba

After rest and enjoy the beaches and the Turtle Stone is time to return to Barra de Guaratiba for lunch

00:10 PM: Launch in Barra de Guaratiba

01:30 PM: Return

After lunch and take a restful in Barra de Guaratiba Beach, it’s time to go back towards the South Zone. Our tour still has some very important stops.

02:00 PM: Grumari and Prainha Beaches

Another short stop for you enjoy the beauty of the Grumari and Prainha beaches. They are part of an environmental reserve and one of the cleanest beaches of Rio de Janeiro.
